Una serata suggestiva e ricca di fascino ha fatto da cornice allo Yachting & Art 2014, evento organizzato all'interno della grande kermesse culturale del Mese della Cultura e della Lingua Italiana a Montecarlo. Prodotto da Bernard d'Alessandri e curato da Paola Magni, l'evento di sabato 4 ottobre allo Yacht Club de Monaco, ha ospitato una doppia mostra: l'una itinerante, con le opere degli artisti esposte negli interni dei più lussuosi yacht attraccati alle banchine, e l'altra all'interno delle sale del prestigioso Yacht Club. Tra le opere esposte allo Yacht Club spiccavano: "La Musa" di Giorgio De Chirico, "Tutto quello che ho sempre pensato sulla storia dell'arte e non ho mai osato dire" di Filippo Sambuy, "Sospeso" di Giorgio Vigna, "Ah ce chemin qu'on a fait depuis les primitifs" di Marco Del Re, "Senza titolo" di Domenico Bianchi e "Schell" di Katharina Fritsch. La mostra itinerante, frutto del binomio “yacht e arte”, si è rivelata un accostamento riuscito e non un’insolita location espositiva. A bordo dei mega yacht presenti, gentilmente aperti al pubblico dagli armatori dello Yacht Club de Monaco, l’estro artistico si è sposato con il design raffinato e di gusto che imbarcazioni come queste custodiscono nelle loro coperte. Il Miss Anna ospitava l'artista Gianfranco Meggiato, da segnalare anche Silver Mind e Nameless, che ha ospitato l'artista iraniano Ghass. A bordo del Miss Anna, le opere di Gianfranco Meggiato appaiono perfettamente in armonia con l'ambiente, queste sculture in bronzo sono state così definite dal noto critico d'arte Vittorio Sgarbi: “Espressione di un gusto elegante e di un tratto scultoreo che sembra derivare dallo studio della tradizione orafa”. Sfere, romboidi e poligoni tutti interamente in bronzo e metallo, che sembrano leggeri e soffici nonostante la mole consistente. Il bianco ghiaccio, i marmi e le finiture essenziali del Miss Anna hanno esaltato ulteriormente le opere di Meggiato. Sullo yacht Nameless, in presenza dell’artista iraniano Ghass, le opere non potevano avere un interprete migliore se non l’artista stesso. È un'arte visceralmente legata alla storia della sua persona. Ghass purtroppo è testimone di guerre e violenze di un paese particolarmente colpito come l’Iran. La sua arte diventa espressione di queste storie ed si presenta libera da spazio e forme all’Io interiore. Al termine della serata, organizzata in occasione della quarta giornata della mostra, l'installazione luminosa SE(E)A by Marco Nereo Rotelli ha suscitato grande interesse e stupore, attirando l'attenzione degli ospiti della cena di gala tenutasi nella sala da ballo dello Yacht Club. I giochi d'acqua dell'installazione nello scenario notturno monegasco hanno affascinato tutti i presenti, affacciati alle terrazze dello Yacht Club a seguito della cena. Prezioso il contributo musicale jazz del noto trombettista Paolo Fresu, che ha curato la colonna sonora della performance. Occhi puntati anche sulla danza per l'esibizione del passo a due "Passione" che ha visto protagonisti Leon Cino e Beatrice Carbone, prima ballerina del Teatro alla Scala di Milano.
An appealing and enchanting framing evening to the Yachting & Art 2014 event has been organized into the great cultural kermesse of the Month of Culture and Italian Language in Monaco. Created by Bernard d'Alessandri and cured by Paola Magni, the Saturday 4 October's event at the Yacht Club de Monaco, housed a double exhibition: the travelling one, with the creative works of the artists displayed inside of the most luxury yachts at the piers and the other one indoor the rooms of the prestigious Yacht Club. Among the works displayed at the Yacht Club, the rising ones were: “La Musa (The Muse)” by Giorgio De Chirico, “Tutto quello che ho sempre pensato sulla storia dell'arte e non ho mai osato dire” (All about my opinion at arts and never dared to tell) by Filippo Sambuy, “Sospeso (Cantilevered)” by Giorgio Vigna, “Ah ce chemin qu'on curated by a fait depuis les primitifs” by Marco Del Re, “Senza titolo” by Domenico Bianchi e “Schell” by Katharina Fritsch. The travelling exhibit resulting by the “yacht e art” binomial, showed to be a very good combination and not an unusual exhibiting location. The mega yachts have been kindly open to the ship owners of the Yacht Club de Monaco and the artistic inspiration embraced the elegant design you can see inside these stylish watercrafts. Miss Anna housed the artist Gianfranco Meggiato, Silver Mind and Nameless have to be mentioned for housing the iranian artist Ghass. On board Miss Anna an interesting harmony of the works by Gianfranco Meggiato and the location. The famous italian art critic Vittorio Sgarbi indicated the bronze sculptures this way: “A very elegant expressive style with a sculptural feature that seems like coming from gold-working tradition project”. Globes, rhomboids and polygons all made of bronze and metal look to be light and soft inspite of their consistent bulk. Meggiato’s works have been intensified by the white ice colour, the marbles and the basic garnishes through all Miss Anna. On Nameless yacht, with the iranian artist Mr. Ghass in person, the works have been very well represented by the artist himself, because of his innate personal story. Mr. Ghass unfortunately is eyewitness of wars and acts of violence in a hard-hit country like Iran. So his arts becomes the expression of these stories and shows itself as a spaceless and shapeless ego. Great interest and amazement of the hosts of the Yacht Club at the gala dinner for the SE(E)A lights around the ballroom by Marco Nereo Rotelli at the end of the evening, arranged for the fourth day of the exhibit. All the presents have been amazed by the after dinner water games along the monegasque night scenario, watched from the Yacht Club terraces. Noteworty the jazz music contribution by the famous trumpet player Paolo Fresu. His is the soundtrack of the water light performance. Great performance by classic dancers couple Leon Cino and Beatrice Carbone, prima ballerina at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, in “Passion”.
